Notecard Swap

My creation

I signed up for Regina's notecard swap knowing full well that I wasn't going to craft anything but instead use some photos I did last summer. These pics have gone over really well on flickr. I think in combination with nostalgia, the colors really help push it over the top.

It's not something too hard to do, if you want to take some commercial looking pics of some of your collectibles. Just set up a piece of scrapbook paper on a table and prop another one up against a stack of books. Open a window with some good light and set up your fun! I submit my digital files to Walmart and get 12 ¢ prints...really cheap for the beginnings of a notecard that looks like a boutique sold it, no?

(cross-posting on my photo blog.)

Those are cool; but alas I'm too late to sign up.

They turned out great and yes, very chic-boutique-y too. It was hard not to sign up for that one when I saw it, but man I'm telling you the "nesting" mode I'm in with this kid is leaving no time for crafting! Oy.

I *love* these cards! Thanks for telling how to do it too - sounds like I might be able to pull it off. Congrats on your gorgeous new blog!!
