B in wonderland

" Alice laughed: 'There's no use trying,' she said.
'One can't believe impossible things.'

'I daresay you haven't had much practice,' said the Queen.

'When I was younger, I always did it for half
an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed
as many as six impossible things before breakfast.'"

Lewis Carroll
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

I picked that quote up from ullabenulla just now. It's serendipitous, which I love, because I've been trying to imagine the impossible all morning, which I don't love. I'm a big believer in imagining your dreams into reality. (Devoted readers know my passion for the mondo beyondo list) I think my own hubby is even finaly beginning to get it. He mad a gratitude list (at my request) of 20 things, none of which were true (yet)

"#3 I'm thankful for my career inthe film industry"

And then only 2 days later he was setting up lights and doing production assistant work for a one day indie film shoot!

Why is it so hard some days to believe?

Any how, I was given a little bit more than an hour last night to go clean and create in my studio. I'm trying to downsize in there to make room for infant photo sessions...how did I end up with so much stuff!? A list of a million things to make, I'll have something to share soon!

See! That "power" really works...believe in something and you can make it come true; and that example of your husband's is perfect. I believe it but my husband is a little skeptical...he thinks it only works for me! lol!

This is my first time to your blog and your photography is so beautiful! I'm very envious! Your oldest daughter (?), C, reminds me so much of mine...Allison. The hair, the complexion...she is turning 13! Talk about feeling old! Here is a link to a picture I have of her in my flicker stuff, if you don't mind looking- http://www.flickr.com/photos/artsmith/198388420/in/set-72057594136931177/ My son also came out with the red hair, but my youngest, Claire, has brown, and got a great tan while playing in the sprinkler late yesterday afternoon, while Allison got sunburned a little. :(
